The story behind this design is fairly simple. It's a DJ. He's spinning, or, more accurately, scratching. The text reads "Itch to Scratch," all in squiggly letters. I actually have to give credit for the inspiration to a friend of mine who used to DJ, and recently began to again. Nickname was "Ed Scratch," and for some reason things just clicked in my head.
